About Our Classes & Workshops

No matter your skill level or experience Pranayoga offer classes & workshops that will help you find a balance of mind, body and spirit. Your yoga practice is based on guiding yogis to a focused and healthy life.

Workshops are a great way to break down certain concepts, postures or themes. A yoga class follows a typical structure whereas a workshop has the luxury to go DEEP into a specific topic.

Classes are generally in the vinyasa & restorative style of yoga, which encourages movements led by the current of breath.

"The yoga pose is not the goal.
Becoming flexible is not the goal.
Standing on your hands or your head is not the goal.
The goal is to create space where you were once stuck.
To unveil the layers of protection you’ve built around your heart.
To appreciate your body and become aware of the mind and the noise it creates.
To make peace with who you are.
The goal is to love, well… YOU!
Come to your yoga mat to feel; not to accomplish.
Shift your focus and your heart will grow."

Vinyasa Yoga Flow - In this practice you will move your body in sync with your breath, connecting each posture with breath infused dynamic flow of movement.

With focus on your breath, your mind will quieten & provide the stillness & awareness to listen to your body. With regular practice, your stamina, flexibility & strength will be improved.

It is like a moving meditation. The term Vinyasa is alignment of movement & breath, which turns static postures into a dynamic flow.

Slow Flow - This practice will encourage you to focus on your breath and notice your body. Each posture will be connected through your breath and gentle flow of movement, pausing to enjoy delicious stretches to make your body sing.

This class is excellent for beginners to experience Vinyasa Flow yoga, & to practice a breath-led class.

You will build your stamina, flexibility & strength.

Flow&Release Yoga - This class promotes movement & stretching at a slower pace, allowing you to follow postures that can be adapted to your specific needs. The class begins & ends with restorative postures, with a  beautiful mindful flow in the middle leaving you restored & relaxed.

Sunrise Yoga - The hardest part is getting out of bed!! but so worth it... this class will give you a wonderful start to your day, breath & movement awareness, Sun salutations, digestive fire practices, dynamic flow.

All Levels - Mixed level yoga class will take you through different yoga postures piece by piece at a slow pace reminding you to be mindful of your breath & movement, making any adjustments to your needs.

A heart opening workshop Exhale & let go

An afternoon of heart πŸ’— opening & cultivating loving kindness to ourselves and all living beings 🧘‍β™€οΈπŸ™πŸΏ

Connect to your Heart Chakra and really sit with that awareness .

The Heart Chakra is the energy center for love, compassion, and emotion in our bodies and in our lives.

A closed off Heart Chakra can result in an inability to love or be loved, an unwillingness to forgive or let go, and not being emotionally stable

This workshop is designed to open the upper back, the chest and the heart area.

Creating space across the front of the body and working with the space in between the shoulder blades, we will actively counteract our everyday sitting posture.

On a more subtle level, we will try and let go of the armor we put on every day to face the world, working towards allowing ourselves to feel honest about who we are and our vulnerabilities and, above all, responding to all this with kindness.

    πŸ’š Open to all levels

    πŸ’š Investment ~ $45

    πŸ’šWe will enjoy a tea ceremony together.πŸ™πŸΏ

  • "New Students "

NEW STUDENTS ~ Can't it feel intimidating to begin something new!!!

At pranayoga, we offer a welcoming, safe & inclusive environment for beginners. We love seeing new

faces & sharing the basics of a yoga practice that can start you on an amazing journey.

You don't need any experience, just come along with an open heart & mind. And because everyone is different

& yoga isn't a "one size fits all" type of thing, we offer a variety of different styles of classes for you to choose from.

    What do I wear?

There is no need for fancy yoga cloths, just wear something that is comfortable & easy to move in, (some of our instructors

have a bit of an addiction to colorful leggings!!!!)

We practice barefoot & leave our footwear in reception area.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just bring yourself & a positive attitude, We have mats & other yoga props to use throughout the class. You may bring

    a bottle of water.

Am I flexible enough for Yoga???

YES!!!!! You're perfect as you are & you don't need to be flexible to begin a yoga practice. You may however, become

more flexible from your yoga practice! Most people who begin yoga are not flexible & most of us will always have

limitations in certain postures - yoga is about working with where we are today.

What class should I go to?

We recommend starting with one of our beginners classes or a slowflow class. You are of course welcome to attend any class of your choosing, but these particular classes are designed for all levels & have proven to be excellant starting points for

those looking to establish a yoga practice. Please see timetable for specific class times.

Yoga is a wonderful, amazing and personal practice, the things we can learn on our journey about ourselves are endless.

We will stumble & fall along the way but Yoga is about getting up, getting back on your mat & trying again!!!

And most of all, Yoga is about being kind to ourselves.....

See you on the mat soon !!!!

  • The Colours of India ~ meaning of celebrating Happy Holi in Udaipur

Who wants to join us in Udaipur- India to celebrate “ Happy Holi”

“The Colours of India “ Retreat

    21st March -5th April 2024 🌈

Holi Festival(also know as Festival of Colors) is not only a festival about color but also a color party for everyone.

People in the street are singing and dancing, and they decorate the sky and the ground with colorful colors to welcome the arrival of spring.

No matter what skin color you are, when you come out you will be colorful.

The more colors you have on your body means the more blessings you will receive in the new year.

It was the most sincere blessing from the passionate Indians and a carnival that belonged to the whole country.

This is undoubtedly one of the must-see experiences of a lifetime.

    🌈Why is Holi Celebrated?

Holi, also known as the festival of colors, is a two-day celebration that celebrates the eternal love between Radha and Lord Krishna. Holi is celebrated in different ways in different parts of India, but the core value is the same – celebrating the triumph of good over evil. Welcoming Spring

    πŸ”΄Red Color For Energy

It signifies energy, excitement, ambition and most importantly auspiciousness. Even brides wear red color outfits on their weddings. Red has always been the colors of utmost importance even from the religious point of view.

The Hindu Goddesses wear red too.

    πŸ”΅Blue For Spiritual Growth

The blue color is available in different shades and variants.

Well, the beautiful color is celebrated because it is actually the color of Lord Krishna who was the Reincarnation of Lord Vishnu. The blue color also represents the water element and eventually signifies affection, faith, and spiritual growth.

    🟒Green for Virility

Look around you, isn't the environment all about the green color. We can thus make out that the main thing that the color depicts is life. It also represents pride, positiveness, freshness, and coolness.

    The green also depicts virility.

    🟠Orange For New Beginnings

The amazing and bright shade is the color of the Sun.

As the sun represents a new day, the color depicts new beginnings, spiritual path, and knowledge.

    🟑Yellow for Health and Peace

The bright yellow color is also everybody's favorite on the festival of Holi.

It depicts prosperity, health, and peace.

Now, you know the relevance of different colors!
